I received my Journeyman Certificate in carpentry in 1985 and have been building and renovating homes ever since. I have had a passion to build since high school and so every day that I do this for a living, I feel fortunate because I do it by choice and not necessity.
I started All About Homes Contracting Ltd. in Penticton in 1995. Through the many years, I have developed a strong customer base in the Okanagan Valley and many of my customers have come to me through word-of-mouth.
I gained an unbeatable reputation for interior finishing of log homes and have built very unique sets of cabinets and millwork in these homes. This also led to building unique designs of interior and exterior furniture, including log furniture and wine barrel tables and chairs, wine barrel bar fronts, etc.
I am very experienced in all aspects of home building and renovating and strive for perfection in every detail of my work. I enjoy working with all types of wood, concrete, marble, granite and slate.
I believe in putting all my focus into one job at a time, especially if the project is a large one, and not leave the homeowner hanging for periods of time throughout construction.
Due to the nature of many of these projects and the type of work that I do, I am able to see the construction of them from start to finish. I rarely prepare a written quote on a job but rather, I will discuss an approximate cost and time of completion. In my many years of experience, I have found that working on an hourly basis works better for both you and me. I don't want to "overquote" to cover my butt and you don't want to "overpay."
